Thomas N. Tippett Trustee, District of Columbia Retirement Board Thomas N. Tippett is a Retired Firefighter Trustee and serves as Vice Chair of the Legislative Committee and member of the Board’s Investment Committee and Strategic Planning and Policy Committee.  Mr. Tippett represented the Active Firefighters on the Board from 1996 to 2000, when he retired as Acting Fire Chief.
