An Retired Firefighter is defined in the DCRB election rules as follows:
*A "Retired Firefighter" - is a sworn member or officer of the FEMS who has retired under an optional, disability or deferred retirement under the provisions of the program for Police and Firefighters' Retirement and Disability.
Retired Firefighters can vote either by mail ballot or via telephone.
