The District of Columbia Retirement Board (DCRB) has recently released two new publications.
The FY 2010 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) provides comprehensive financial statements and other year-end information on DCRB programs and services for the fiscal year (FY) ended September 30, 2010. DCRB's FY 2008 and FY 2009 CAFRs have been awarded the Government Finance Officers Association's Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, and we are currently awaiting the announcement of this award for the FY 2010 CAFR. This certificate is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting. Download the FY 2010 CAFR [PDF] now.
The DCRB Report is a newsletter that is mailed biannually to all Plan participants, and the Spring 2011 edition includes a Fiscal Year 2010 summary, financial statements, COLA (cost-of-living adjustment) information, Plan participant data, and a message from Michael Warren, the Chairman of the Board. All Plan participants should have received the Spring 2011 issue of the DCRB Report by mail, and active participants should have also received an electronic version of the newsletter at their District of Columbia or designated email address.
