The District of Columbia Retirement Board (“DCRB”) is seeking to fill a newly created Director of Internal Audit position. The Director of Internal Audit will be responsible for working with DCRB’s General Counsel, Executive Director, and the Audit Committee of the Board of Trustees to determine the scope of activities for the agency’s internal audit and compliance functions, as well as building a framework for managing risks across DCRB’s operations. The Director of Internal Audit position will report to DCRB’s General Counsel, with responsibility for developing and implementing a comprehensive internal financial, procedural, and compliance audit program that evaluates internal control measures, policies, and information systems.
DCRB is responsible for the investment of funds and administration of benefits for over 13,000 retirees and 10,000 members of the District of Columbia Teachers’ Retirement Plan and the District of Columbia Police Officers and Firefighters’ Retirement Plan (collectively “Plan members”).
The annualized full-time salary range for this position is $130,114 - $211,198 (DCRB Grade 11). For more information, see the position summary attached below.
