The District of Columbia Retirement (“DCRB”) is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the agency’s Finance department. This position is responsible for the supervision and oversight of the Agency's financial activities. The CFO works closely with the Executive Director to set the tone for management and staff to foster ethical and responsible decision-making, professional and appropriate financial management, and best-in-class financial governance practices. The CFO has overall responsibility for developing financial plans, financial reporting, and identifying the Agency’s financial liability.
DCRB is responsible for the investment of funds and administration of retirement benefits for over 14,000 retirees and 10,000 members of the District of Columbia Teachers’ Retirement Plan and the District of Columbia Police Officers and Firefighters’ Retirement Plan (collectively “Plan members”).
The annualized, full-time salary range for this position is $131,235 - $235,214 (DCRB Grade 12), and the posting will remain open until filled. For more information, see the position summary attached below.
