The District of Columbia Retirement Board (“DCRB”) is seeking a Contract Specialist to effectively and efficiently acquire services and equipment in direct support of DCRB’s mission.
Under the general supervision of the Supervisory Contract Specialist, the Contract Specialist is responsible for performing DCRB’s procurement and contract functions, including acquisition-planning, market research, assisting with Statements of Work (SOW), issuing and managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and the evaluation process. Additional duties include conducting negotiations, making contract awards, and coordinating contract administration functions, including vendor management, contract modifications, preliminary disputes, and close-outs.
DCRB is responsible for the investment of funds and administration of benefits for over 14,000 retirees and 10,000 members of the District of Columbia Teachers’ Retirement Plan and the District of Columbia Police Officers and Firefighters’ Retirement Plan (collectively “Plan members”).
The annualized full-time salary range for this position is $64,309 - $104,385 (DCRB Grade 07), and the posting will remain open until filled. For more information, see the position summary attached below.
