The District of Columbia Retirement (“DCRB”) is seeking a Director of Risk and Investment Compliance to support the Executive Director and General Counsel in leading a newly created team focused on ensuring the agency’s investment program is managed within the parameters of a risk management framework. This includes implementing a systematic, disciplined approach to risk-assessment, while also building a “culture of compliance” and “risk awareness.” This individual will apply deep knowledge of investment-compliance and risk-management principles, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills to help ensure the agency operates under an effective governance system that adheres to DCRB’s investment policies, guidelines, and external regulations.
DCRB is responsible for the investment of funds and administration of benefits for over 13,000 retirees and 10,000, members for the District of Columbia Teachers’ Retirement Plan and the District of Columbia Police Officers and Firefighters’ Retirement Plan (collectively “Plan members”).
The annualized full-time salary range for this position is $130,114- $201,026 (DCRB Grade 11). For more information, see the position summary attached below.
