Pension Administrator

The District of Columbia Retirement Board (“DCRB”) is seeking a Pension Administrator (PA) to lead DCRB’s Benefits Department, which serves the needs of all Plan members (primarily retirees and their eligible dependents and beneficiaries). The PA will manage the overall operations of the Benefits Department, consistent with the laws and regulations applicable to the Plans and policies set by DCRB’s Board of Directors. The role’s primary focus is on ensuring the most effective and efficient administration of retirement benefits for the more than 14,000 retirees and 10,000 active employees participating in the Plans.

DCRB is responsible for the investment of funds and administration of benefits for over 14,000 retirees and 10,000, members for the District of Columbia Teachers’ Retirement Plan and the District of Columbia Police Officers and Firefighters’ Retirement Plan (collectively “Plan members”).

The annualized full-time salary range for this position is $131,235 - $235,214 (DCRB Grade 12). For more information, see the position summary attached below.
