FEDERAL HEALTH PLANS
If you are a Federal annuitant or retiree (hired prior to October 1, 1987), each year in early November, DCRB sends you instructions for making Open Enrollment changes. It is very important that you keep your address up to date to ensure that you receive your Open Enrollment materials packet each year.
DISTRICT HEALTH PLANS
If you are an annuitant or retiree (hired after October 1, 1987), follow the link below for more information on how to enroll for benefits or to make changes to your existing benefits.
INFORMATION FOR MEDICARE ELIGIBLE RETIREES
Please note that once a retiree, spouse, or domestic partner reaches age 65, he/she may want to apply for Medicare Part A and B as soon as they become eligible because the healthcare provider becomes the secondary payer for them. He/she may also incur a penalty of 10% of premium per year for not signing up for Medicare, Part B, when first eligible to do so.
