The District of Columbia Retirement Board (DCRB) seeks a Retirement Analyst to calculate and process various retirement benefits for Plan members of the Police/Firefighters’ and Teachers’ Retirement Plans and their survivors. Primary responsibilities of the Retirement Analyst include calculating retirement estimates, benefit recalculations, and determining the payout of deceased members and annuitants, including unpaid annuity and unexpected contributions. The Retirement Analyst is also responsible for managing an assigned caseload each pay period to ensure payments are made within the first sixty-day period of receiving a member’s request for benefits.
DCRB is responsible for the investment of funds and administration of retirement benefits for approximately 15,000 retirees and 10,000 members of the District of Columbia Teachers’ Retirement Plan and the District of Columbia Police Officers and Firefighters’ Retirement Plan (collectively “Plan members”).
The annualized full-time salary range for this position is $62,563 -- $99,907 DOQ (DCRB Grade 6), and the posting will remain open until filled. For more information, see the position summary attached below.
