Prior District employees (hired after October 1, 1987) may elect to receive District healthcare and life insurance benefits.

For additional information about calculating your premium, please download the 2020 versions of the DC Health Benefits Registration Form for Retirees, DC Plan Calculation Sheet, and DC Health Plan Retirees Chart. Complete the forms below to enroll in the District Plan upon retirement or to make changes in your coverage upon a change in family status. If you have questions, please contact the DCRB Member Services Center at (202) 343-3272 or toll free at 1(866) 456-3272. Members can submit their completed materials to DCRB in a variety of ways:

Upon retirement, members may carry life insuance into retirement. More information about plan coverage and post-retirment rates can be found at The Standard. Complete the form below to enroll in the District's Life Insurance Plan upon retirement or to make reduction changes in your coverage after retirement.
