Conflict of Interest Guidelines

Friday, May 13, 2016

These guidelines were originally adopted on September 11, 1987, and they were revised and approved by the District of Columbia Retirement Board (DCRB or the Board) in March 2006. The Conflict of Interest Guidelines apply to all members of the Board. Wherever these guidelines conflict with any other applicable Federal or District statute, the statute controls.

The guidelines state that "members of the Board (and designated staff) shall act solely for the benefit of the participants of the Fund and give their undivided loyalty to such participants and beneficiaries."
