On November 18, 2010, the District of Columbia Retirement Board (DCRB) adopted and approved the Investment Watch List Policy. The policy was later revised on June 21, 2018.

The Watch List is under the direction of the Chief Investment Officer and Investment Consultant and is a means of providing the Investment Committee with additional information about public market managers.

A manager may be added to the Watch List for several reasons; detailed descriptions of these reasons are given within the document.
