Federal Health Insurance Plans Resources

Members of the Plans administered by the District of Columbia Retirement Board (DCRB) who were hired prior to October 1, 1987, participate in federal health insurance programs. For additional information about these programs, please visit the following page:

Members can submit their materials to DCRB in a variety of ways:

  • Submit online from the the DCRB website.
    • Federal Health Benefits Election Form https://forms.dc.gov/f/FED2809DCRB
    • Note: Please submit all supporting documents with your enrollment form if you are adding or removing a dependent from your healthcare plan. Examples would be:
      • Divorce
      • Marriage
      • Adoption
      • Birth
      • Adult disabled child
