The District of Columbia Retirement (“DCRB”) is seeking a Member Services Supervisor (MS Supervisor) to assist the Member Services Manager (MS Manager) with the day-to-day business requirements of the Member Services Unit. The MS Supervisor serves as “back-up” to the MS Manager on operational matters in the absence of the MS Manager. The MS Supervisor also supervises and oversees the daily work of the Member Services Representative (MSR) team by answering complex questions from staff and members, allocating work amongst the team, and assisting in the resolution of problems experienced by DCRB members.
DCRB is responsible for the investment of funds and administration of retirement benefits for approximately 15,000 retirees and 10,000 members of the District of Columbia Teachers’ Retirement Plan and the District of Columbia Police Officers and Firefighters’ Retirement Plan (collectively “Plan members”).
