The District of Columbia Retirement Board (Board) has commenced a Special Election for the Retired Firefighter Trustee. This is a three-year term starting January 28, 2021 and ending January 27, 2024, and fills the remainder of Thomas Tippett’s term who resigned from the Board in July 2020. A Retired Firefighter is defined in the DCRB Election Rules as follows:
A "retired firefighter" who has retired from FEMS under the provisions of the District of Columbia Police Officers and Firefighters' Retirement Plan ("Police Officers & Firefighters' Plan").
