The District of Columbia Retirement Board (“DCRB”) is seeking a Benefits Business Analyst to serve as the primary bridge between DCRB's pension plan operations and the technical configuration of the Benefits Administration and Pension System (BAPS). This position translates DCRB's complex plan rules, regulatory requirements, and business processes into clear, actionable system configuration specifications—and serves as the agency's subject matter check on all vendor configuration decisions throughout the implementation lifecycle.
The Benefits Business Analyst also is responsible for current-state process documentation, future-state process design, compliance validation, and leading User Acceptance Testing—ensuring that the configured system accurately reflects DCRB's operational requirements, and fully meets applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
DCRB is responsible for the investment of funds and administration of retirement benefits for approximately 15,000 retirees and 10,000 members of the District of Columbia Teachers’ Retirement Plan and the District of Columbia Police Officers and Firefighters’ Retirement Plan (collectively “Plan members”).
The annualized full-time salary range for this position is $71,422-$114,054 DOQ (DCRB Grade 07), and the posting will remain open until filled. For more information, see the position description attached below.
