The District of Columbia Retirement (“DCRB”) is seeking to fill a newly created position: Independent Validation & Verification (IV&V) Analyst

The Independent Validation & Verification (IV&V) Analyst reports directly to DCRB’s Director of Internal Audit to provide independent, objective validation and verification support to the Benefits Administration Pension System (BAPS) project team and/or Steering Committee regarding the completeness and accuracy of the Plans’ active and retired member data. The IV&V Analyst ensures that all project deliverables are met, and that project costs are appropriate during the BAPS implementation phases (requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment). The IV&V Analyst’s primary objective is to help ensure that the new system  is configured and deployed effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with DCRB’s objectives, while minimizing project risk. 

The IV&V Analyst delivers unbiased reports and recommendations to help Agency leadership make informed decisions, mitigate risks, contain costs, and ensure accountability.

DCRB is responsible for the investment of funds and administration of retirement benefits for approximately 15,000 retirees and 10,000 members of the District of Columbia Teachers’ Retirement Plan and the District of Columbia Police Officers and Firefighters’ Retirement Plan (collectively “Plan members”).

The annualized full-time salary range for this position is $109,071--$174,175 DOQ (Grade 10), and the posting will remain open until filled. For more information, see the vacancy announcement attached below.
