The District of Columbia Retirement Board (DCRB) is seeking an intellectually curious and collaborative investment professional to join its investment team as a Principal Investment Analyst. This is a generalist role well-suited for a mid-career candidate with six to nine (6–9) years of institutional investment experience who is eager to deepen his/her expertise across asset classes within a mission-driven, public sector investment office.
Reporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and collaborating with the Investment team’s Portfolio Managers and Investment Analysts, the Principal Investment Analyst will contribute meaningfully to all phases of the investment process—from strategic asset allocation and manager selection, to portfolio monitoring and board reporting. This role offers exposure to a broad investment program, as well as the opportunity to develop professionally within a small, collegial team environment committed to excellence in stewardship.
Please note: DCRB currently offers a “hybrid” work schedule; new Investment team members are required to work from the office a minimum of four days a week for the first year, and three days a week thereafter.
DCRB is responsible for the investment of funds and administration of retirement benefits for approximately 15,000 retirees and 10,000 members of the District of Columbia Teachers’ Retirement Plan and the District of Columbia Police Officers and Firefighters’ Retirement Plan (collectively “Plan members”).
The current, annualized full-time salary range for this position is $94,122--$150,304 DOQ (Grade 09), and the posting will remain open until filled. All applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
