Michael Bethea was declared the winner of the Active Teachers’ Election.
On February 17, 2026, the District of Columbia Retirement Board (DCRB) certified the results of the Active Teachers’ Election and declared Michael Bethea, an active District of Columbia Teacher, the winner. The Notice of Public Interest will be published in the DC Register on March 6, 2026.
