The 2010 District and Federal Employee Health Benefits Open Seasons begin on Monday, November 9, 2009, and end Monday, December 14, 2009. During the Open Seasons you may:

• change from one health insurance plan to another health insurance plan;
• change from one health option to another, (e.g., switch from an HMO to a PPO, etc., if available);
• change your enrollment from Self Only to Self and Family;
• re-enroll in a DC Employees' or Federal Employees' Health Benefits plan if you previously suspended your plan to enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan or Tricare military health insurance program; or
• cancel your DC Employees' or Federal Employees' Health Benefits plan. (Please note: if you cancel your health plan, you will not be permitted to re-enroll at a later date.)

Eligible District and federal employees will be receiving a packet in the mail from DCRB with more information. Please contact the DCRB Member Services Center at (202) 343-3272 if you do not receive your packet by November 23.
