Special Election for Active Teacher Representative to the Board Has Commenced

Special Election for Active Teacher Trustee Was Delayed but Has Resumed

 

Due to a vacancy, the District of Columbia Retirement Board (DCRB) has commenced a Special Election for an Active Teacher Trustee, to complete the term ending January 27, 2021. An “Active Teacher” is defined in the DCRB Election Rules as follows:

Active Teacher- ‘[A]n employee of District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) in a salary class position ET 1-15 or an employee of a District of Columbia public charter school who is an active member of the District of Columbia Teachers' Retirement Plan (Teachers' Plan).’ This does not include their survivors and beneficiaries.

Active Teachers may cast their ballots via regular postal mail, telephone, or online.
