The election process for an Active Police Officer Trustee to serve on the District of Columbia Retirment Board (DCRB) Board of Trustees (the Board) began in August 2018 with the distribution of election notification packets to qualified voters by DCRB’s election official, Election-America, Inc. Ballots were sent to qualified voters on November 2. On December 7, Election-America tabulated the ballots that were cast and certified the results of the election.

Trustee Pemberton replaces former Trustee Darrick O. Ross, who served as the Active Police Officer Trustee to the Board since 1999.
