In December 2019, a new (or novel) human coronavirus COVID-19 emerged, impacting multiple countries and communities. It is unclear how easily this virus is spreading among people. Confirmed COVID-19 infection symptoms include: fever, cough, and shortness of breath, appearing anywhere from two to 14 days after exposure. At-risk populations include older members of the public, and those with pre-existing conditions, especially respiratory conditions and compromised immune systems.
